Message from the Principal

Harmony's Hawks Promote a safe and nurturing climate using practices from training in Restorative Justice.  Students engage in a rigorous, balanced instructional program thoughtfully designed using the CA Common Core State Standards.  School partnerships with programs like the esteemed Sobrato Early Academic Language Program and The Academic English Mastery Program; help keep our teacher abreast of current educational research in language development and instructional design, wether analyzing a favorite book, exploring the visual or theatre arts, playing in the orchestra, or participating in one of our extracurricular clubs, students are challenged to realize their full academic potential.  The Harmony Elementary School Community is dedicated to creating partnerships with parents to ensure student success.  Opportunities for Parent Engagement include: ESL classes for parents and the community, Coffee with the Principal, Parent Workshops, Parenting Classes, participation in school governance, parents as volunteers, and participation in school-wide events. Our students also have the grand opportunity to be bilingual and biliterate in our Dual Language Program in Spanish. 

It is our vested interest to partner with parents and families to ensure our Harmony students are growing to be the leaders they were born to be. We are preparing our students leaders to be academically, socially, and emotionally ready for a future in college and career.
